| Submission of papers |
The
Newsletter is mainly distributing information. It is not intending to
publish comprehensively scientific papers to appear in the peer-reviewed literature.
Recent progress achieved and preliminary results relevant to the programme
are announced in reports by indicating the related forthcoming or recent
journal publications. The Newsletter is also welcoming correspondence and
subjects to moot points. Direct replies to such moot points are encouraged. The
material (general information, reports, moot point, correspondence,
announcements, presentation of publications, etc…) may be submitted to
one of the associate editors, preferably to Wolfgang Dörr concerning papers
related to radiobiology and health effect issues, and to Francesco
d'Errico concerning those related to dosimetry and metrology.
The associate editors coordinate the issues planning, check the
papers and maintain the contact with the authors when amendments
are required. Possibly, consultant editors may be asked for further
assistance. The
Newsletter is first implemented on the Web. Subsequently, the booklet is printed using the same material,
but possibly shortened according to the
planned size. The objective being to distribute the booklet end of May and
end of November, contributions are expected to be submitted before April
10 and October 10 respectively, final deadlines are April 15 and October
15. Contributions
should be sent preferably in electronic form, or saved on a PC disk,
including graphs and tables. Illustrative parts (logo, authors or group
photographs, cartoons) are encouraged. If necessary hard copies should be
sent directly the editor. Complete reference for contact and further
information should be added. It will be joint to the paper or included in
our contact file, available on the Web. |
